Die von Bischof Schneider im Interview aufgegriffene Problematik gab es bereits bei Papst Johannes Paul II.
Gott lässt vieles zu, das beinhaltet auch unseren freien Willen. Das heißt aber nicht, dass Er mit allem, was auf Erden geschieht, völlig einverstanden ist.
Gefährlich wird es dann, wenn der Eindruck entsteht, alle Religionen seien gleichwertig oder wären für die Gläubigen gleichermaßen geeignet, das ewige Heil zu erlangen.
Bei aller Brüderlichkeit (die sich auf die Nächstenliebe bezieht) stößt der interreligiöse Dialog an seine Grenzen, wenn es an den Kern dessen geht, was die jeweilige Religion als ihre "Glaubenswahrheiten" definiert.
Nicht außer Acht gelassen werden darf der Aspekt, dass das Christentum klar eine missionierende bzw. evangelisierende Religion ist. Dies kann nur glaubwürdig erfolgen, wenn man von der - ausschließlichen - Richtigkeit und Wahrheit der eigenen Glaubensinhalte überzeugt ist.
Mit derartigen Dokumenten (wie jenem von Abu Dhabi) wird lediglich ein Schein-Friede erreicht und sogar Religionen, die christenfeindliche Inhalte vertreten, werden zusammen mit dem Christentum auf die gleiche Ebene gehoben. Es besteht die Gefahr der "Gleichmacherei", der scheinbaren Gleichwertigkeit sowie der beliebigen Austauschbarkeit von Religionen. Das jeweilige typische Profil einer Religion wird unscharf dargestellt. Es wird suggeriert, alle Religionen wollten letztlich ohnehin nur das Gleiche ... Zuletzt wird damit der Weg für die Einheits-Religion geebnet, die ganz eindeutig menschengemacht ist und nicht von Gott kommt!
Der christliche Schöpfergott beansprucht - wie wir bereits im Alten Testament lesen können - die alleinige Verehrung und Anbetung durch den von Ihm erschaffenen Menschen für Sich. Ausdrücklich lehnt Er ab, dass Seine Geschöpfe noch weiteren Göttern huldigen oder ihnen dienen. - Damit ist eigentlich bereits alles gesagt.

The problem that Bishop Schneider took up in the interview was already present with Pope John Paul II.
God allows many things, including our free will. But that does not mean that He completely agrees with everything that happens on earth.
It becomes dangerous when the impression arises that all religions are of equal value or are equally suitable for believers to attain eternal salvation.
Despite all fraternity (which refers to charity), interreligious dialogue reaches its limits when it comes to the core of what each religion defines as its "truths of faith".
The aspect that Christianity is clearly a missionary or evangelizing religion must not be ignored. This can only be done credibly if one is convinced of the - exclusive - correctness and truth of one's own beliefs.
With such documents (like that of Abu Dhabi) only a hollow peace is achieved and even religions that represent anti-Christian contents are lifted together with Christianity to the same level. There is the danger of "egalitarianism", of the apparent equivalence as well as of the arbitrary interchangeability of religions. The respective typical profile of a religion is blurred. It is suggested that in the end all religions wanted only the same thing anyway . . . Finally the way is paved for the Unity Religion, which is clearly man-made and doesn't come from God!
The Christian Creator God claims - as we can already read in the Old Testament - the sole veneration and worship by the man created by Him for Himself. He expressly rejects that His creatures pay homage to or serve other gods. - That actually says it all.

Le problème que Mgr Schneider a abordé dans l'interview était déjà présent avec le Pape Jean-Paul II.
Dieu permet beaucoup de choses, y compris notre libre arbitre. Mais cela ne veut pas dire qu'Il est complètement d'accord avec tout ce qui se passe sur terre.
Il devient dangereux lorsqu'on a l'impression que toutes les religions sont d'égale valeur ou conviennent également aux croyants pour atteindre le salut éternel.
Malgré toute fraternité (qui se réfère à la charité), le dialogue interreligieux atteint ses limites lorsqu'il touche au cœur de ce que chaque religion définit comme ses "vérités de foi".
L'aspect selon lequel le christianisme est clairement une religion missionnaire ou évangélisatrice ne doit pas être ignoré. Cela ne peut se faire de manière crédible que si l'on est convaincu de la justesse - exclusive - et de la vérité de ses propres croyances.
Avec de tels documents (comme celui d'Abu Dhabi), seule une paix illusoire est obtenue et même les religions qui représentent des contenus anti-chrétiens sont élevées avec le christianisme au même niveau. Il y a le danger de "l'égalitarisme" de l'équivalence apparente ainsi que de l'interchangeabilité arbitraire des religions. Le profil typique respectif d'une religion est flou. Il est suggéré qu'à la fin toutes les religions ne voulaient que la même chose de toute façon. . . Enfin le chemin est pavé pour la Religion de l'Unité, qui est clairement faite par l'homme et qui ne vient pas de Dieu !
Le Dieu Créateur chrétien revendique - comme nous pouvons déjà le lire dans l'Ancien Testament - l'unique vénération et adoration de l'homme créé par Lui pour Lui-même. Il rejette expressément que Ses créatures rendent hommage ou servent d'autres dieux. - C'est tout dire en fait.
